2007 Schloss Vollrads Riesling Kabinett trocken

Had this from the selection of Shanghai Garden. It caught our eye as we visited the vineyard in 2008, and rieslings, with their high acidity, go well with shanghai food, especially for the fatty foods. This Kabinett tastes of honey, apple and is creamy. Acidity is decent but not too high. Finish is enjoyable and long enough. Excellent wine for the price, and goes extremely well with the food.

From Rheinhessen under Schmitt Söhne. Simple ice wine with honey, rasins and caramel. Very syrupy, sweet and sticky. Concentrated and at 9% alcohol.
